City Supporting Mind in 2018/19

The new 1st Team home kit, all ready for tomorrow! Thanks to Sportstar for printing & Klean Fitness
looking great on the front!

This season, we’re also promoting Mind Mental Health. 25% of the total population suffer from
mental health, yet only 1/4 of those people suffering seek support. On top of that, suicide is
the most common cause of death for men aged 20-49 – so it’s incredibly important any sufferers
can feel comfortable opening up.

We will pick 2 Home games this season where all profits, including player donations, are given to
the charity. It’s a great cause!

Nangle wins League Player Of The Year

Congratulations to Romello Nangle who deservedly won the Notts Senior League Premier Division Player of the Year for 2017/18 at the league AGM tonight. He won the most opposition votes out of any player. Top player, great lad & we genuinely hope he goes on to play a lot higher to fulfil all his ability 👍🏼⚽

First Team Friendlies Announced

Pre-Season friendlies for our first team have now been announced. The schedule so far includes local derbies, a reunion against Newark Town and hosting the reputable Rainworth. All at home. 1 more to add…

Wed 18th July – Linby CW (Home – 19:30)
Sat 21st July – Newark Town (Home – 15:00)
Tue 24th July – Rainworth MW (Home – 19:30)

Tom MacDonald Steps Down

Tom MacDonald has decided to leave his position as 1st Team Manager. He’s been in the role for 2 years, took over at a really difficult time & has done a great job. The club would like to thank him for all his hard work. He will now fully focus on playing for City. 👏🏼

Jonny Upton will take charge of 1st team affairs until the summer. The club will then reassess management options for the 18/19 season in May.
