Congratulations to our January Volunteer of the Month: Joe Button!
Joe has quickly become an invaluable asset to Southwell City, helping out in multiple ways. As coach of our U11 Girls team, he’s helping develop young players while fostering a positive team environment that encourages both skill development and enjoyment of the game.
But Joe’s contributions extend far beyond the training pitch. He’s helped us to install extra lighting at Brinkley, giving us more options for evening training sessions. With a couple more lights planned for that space, this is a real help.
Joe has also recently joined our executive committee to help with future planning at the club. Whether he’s coaching on the pitch, installing lights, or contributing to club decisions, Joe’s all-round commitment is exactly what makes volunteer-run clubs like ours work.
