Naomi Richmond Named Club Volunteer for May

Congratulations to our May Volunteer of the Month: Naomi Richmond!

Three seasons ago, when the U10 Troopers found themselves without a coach, Naomi stepped up without hesitation. She took on the responsibility and has done a fantastic job ever since, guiding the team through to their current U13 season. Her commitment to those players, making sure they had a coach, a team, and a season, is exactly the kind of selfless dedication that makes this club what it is.

Under Naomi’s guidance, the Troopers have gone from strength to strength, and today was no exception. The team capped off a brilliant performance with an impressive 8-2 victory against Aslockton & Orston, a result that speaks volumes about the environment and belief Naomi has built within the squad.

We’re delighted to name Naomi Richmond as our May Volunteer of the Month. Pictured here with her players, she’s receiving a voucher for The Old Theatre Deli in Southwell and a bottle of prosecco from Club Chairman John Cunningham at the Centenary Ground following today’s win.

Thank you, Naomi, for your outstanding contribution to Southwell City!

Could you be our next female coach? Naomi’s story is a brilliant example of what one person can do for a group of young players. We’re keen to get more women involved in coaching at Southwell City, at all ages and levels. If you’re interested, whether you have experience or are just curious about getting started, please contact the club.
