James Dealtry-Smith Named Club Volunteer for April

Congratulations to our April Volunteer of the Month: James Dealtry-Smith!

James has quickly established himself as one of the most dependable volunteers at Southwell City. Many of you will know him as the assistant manager to Doc Ball’s U10 Panthers team, but James has also been putting in the hard work to help develop a potential new U10 side for next season, a fantastic contribution to the future of our junior section.

When there’s a job to be done around Memorial Ground, James is never shy to get stuck in. Whether it’s clearing gutters, fixing toilets, or tackling whatever maintenance challenge comes his way, his willingness to help out makes a real difference to the club.

Beyond the training pitch and the groundwork, James has also taken on an important role in building bridges between our junior and senior sections, arranging for junior players to attend first team matches as mascots, including running the half-time penalty shootouts that have become a firm favourite. It’s exactly the kind of initiative that helps bring our whole club together.

We’re delighted to name James Dealtry-Smith as our April Volunteer of the Month. Pictured here at Memorial Ground, he’s receiving a voucher for The Old Theatre Deli in Southwell and a bottle of prosecco from Club Chairman John Cunningham.

Thank you, James, for your outstanding contribution to Southwell City!
