Congratulations to our March Volunteer of the Month: Stephen “Doc” Ball!
Doc has become an invaluable member of our club and many will know him as the manager of the U10 Panthers team. Alongside this though, Doc has served on the executive committee for a couple seasons, providing crucial insights that particularly represent the views and needs of younger junior teams. He has also created the club’s environmental policy, helping us become more sustainable in everything we do.
When he’s not coaching or contributing to club strategy, Doc can often be found lending his practical skills around the grounds. From clearing clubhouse gutters in freezing conditions to installing letter boxes and organising the goal storage area at Memorial Ground, his willingness to tackle any job that needs doing is truly appreciated.
We’re delighted to name Stephen “Doc” Ball as our March Monthly Volunteer Award recipient. Pictured right, here he’s receiving his award from Club Chairman John Cunningham.
Thank you, Doc, for your exceptional service to Southwell City!
