Southwell City has recently welcomed Archie Bower, who’s joining on placement as Fundraising & Sponsorship Officer through the BUCS Emerging Club Leaders programme. The scheme, run by British Universities and Colleges Sport, places university students into key roles at community football clubs across the country.
Archie will be working to strengthen partnerships with local businesses and help secure sponsorship for the club’s teams. Over the coming weeks, he’ll be reaching out to local companies interested in getting involved with Southwell City.
The BUCS programme is designed to support community clubs while giving students real experience in their field. Archie will bring fresh energy to the role while learning what it takes to run a grassroots football operation.
“We’re really excited to have Archie on board,” the club said. “His arrival gives us the capacity to build stronger relationships with local businesses and help drive the club forward.”
