What an amazing way to finish the season! Southwell City U15’s set off on an unforgettable trip to Finland, packed with football, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
The boys had the incredible chance to step out onto the pitch at Tammelan Stadium in Tampere – the home of FC Ilves – and actually play there before settling in the stands to watch the professionals in action. It was a real “pinch yourself” moment for everyone.
The excitement carried on in Seinäjoki, where the team were welcomed by SJK and given the honour of being ball boys at their stunning OmaSp Stadium. From training sessions to matchday experiences, the hospitality shown by the club made the week extra special.
Of course, the team looked the part too – a huge thank you to Sally McQuillan and H&V Services for providing the smart tracksuits that the boys wore with pride all week.
It was more than just a football trip – it was a chance to celebrate the season together, strengthen friendships, and create memories they’ll never forget. A truly magical end to the season!
