Celebrating Jonny Upton’s 200-Game Milestone

Jonny Upton recently completed a remarkable milestone, reaching 200 games as the manager of the men’s first team, a fantastic achievement.

Appointed in January 2018, Jonny has been an integral part of the club ever since, contributing massively, both on and off the pitch. His tenure has been marked by some remarkable highs during those 200 games. In May 2019, his team won the NSL Senior Cup, defeating Stapleford Town by a resounding score of 6-1. This triumph marked the club’s first trophy since 2002. In May 2022, the team further cemented their success, finishing the NSL Premier Division as champions. As a result, the team earned promotion to the United Counties League, the highest level in the club’s history.

In recognition of Jonny’s outstanding contribution, Club Chairman John Cunningham recently presented him with a bottle of 2018 vintage wine as a token of the club’s gratitude and appreciation for his efforts.

Congratulations to Jonny on reaching this impressive 200-game milestone. Here’s to many more successes and achievements under his leadership!
